William Shakespeare influenced society through the creation of poems and plays, mostly pertaining the emotion of affection. Ironically, the play Romeo and Juliet contains quite a tragedy, as two individuals wanting to desperately be with one another led to irrational actions and eventually led to their untimely demise.
