Activity No. 1 “Do you think the adults in Romeo and Juliet provide proper advice to the young lovers in the play”. In Romeo and Juliet there are numerous adults in Romeo And Juliet that didn’t show proper advice for young lovers in the play. Those parents are Romeo and Juliet Parents, Friar Laurence and the Nurse. Which they failed to provide advice to the young adults. Romeo and Juliet’s parents didn’t show much love and affection to each other. During the play they weren’t mentioned all that much but what I know is. He also didn’t show proper advice, for an example when Juliet was refusing to get married to Paris. Friar gave Juliet a potion take to put her asleep throughout the wedding. The reason of giving her the potion was to reunite Juliet to Romeo because Juliet didn’t was to get married again and to Paris. This led Paris heartbroken. Another example of Friar is when Romeo was sentence to go to Mantua, Friar told him to go to his wedding night and in the early morning speed over to Mantua and act like nothing happed. She didn’t provide genuine advice because she gave limited advice to Juliet as a young lover when she was getting married, only advice was giving was marry Paris instead because the Nurse thinks Paris is a great guy. She also stated that it would be more beneficial for the family, Instead of having Romeo Montague Marry Juliet Caplet (they have family feuds, there violence in minor throughout the play).
