Their marriage is just a secret, no one knows about that. Right after their wedding, Tybalt was searching for Romeo, but instead of seeing Romeo, he saw Mercutio and Benvolio. Romeo returns and Tybalt challenge him to fight but he refuse. They started a fight where Mercutio got stabbed by Tybalt and he was killed.
