Teenagers “fall in love” constantly but nearly all of the time the real love is blinded by lust. A perfect example of this is in a play called Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. Two nefarious teens from rival families meet at a party. At the first sight of Juliet, Romeo instantly sparked up. “She doth teach the torches to burn bright” (Shakespeare and Yates-Glandorf 88). Juliet felt the same strong emotion as Romeo and wanted that feeling to last forever. So they thought they were both bound to get married. Romeo and Juliet are star-crossed lovers but the star is crossed by the classic sin called lust.

Teens will go out of their way to do things their parents forbade "With love's light wings did I o'erperch these walls, For stony limits cannot hold love out" (Shakespeare and Yates-Glandorf #). Romeo is from the Montagues and Juliet is from the Capulets. Two families that have an ongoing feud are not supposed to fall in love or get to gather but that might have been a driving force in their connection.
