It would have made everyone in Juliet's family very mad at Romeo and even less open to their marriage if they were to tell people about it. The tragedy of this story has already began from when Romeo fell in love with Juliet at the masquerade party because they want to get married, but their families won’t allow their marriage. The day after their secret wedding, fighting broke out between Mercutio, Romeo’s friend, and Tybalt, Juliet’s cousin. Romeo had tried to stop the fight between them because he is secretly Tybalt’s cousin in law, but they fight anyways and Tybalt cuts Mercutio. When Mercutio dies and Tybalt runs away, Romeo is enraged and murders Tybalt. As a result of his actions, the Prince banishes Romeo from Verona for as long as he lives.

There are many different tools available to teachers today that they can use in their classroom to keep children engaged in the “classics.” One piece of literature many students hate reading is Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. Effective teaching is a result of many factors, but to be a passionate teacher takes a more time and effort within the classroom. The use of technology is ever growing today and rather dismissing it, I would incorporate it into many of my lessons to keep the children engaged.
