Rwanda Accuses France Of Complicity In 1994 Propaganda Analysis

In our past history, there have been so horrifying events, including the Holocaust and the Rwandan Genocide. Certain people have gained too much power in our past. At those times people who held power took advantage of their power. They decided to take people’s lives into their hand just because they don’t like the certain race that person is. People should have their own rights, and have their own say. But in the past certain races have suffered, through torture and imprisonment, by leaders that hate those races. In these two sources, “Rwanda Accuses France of Complicity in 1994 Genocide,” by Jina Moore, and the video, “How I escaped the Holocaust,” by Buzzfeed. Both sources show that government leaders, and the people who hold power within

the Genocide event. And how those imprisoned people couldn’t do what they wanted to do. People were captured just because of what race they were. People shouldn’t be able to capture a certain race just because they didn’t like it. “Archival documents show that the French government was a close ally of the Rwandan regime that planned and perpetrated the mass slaughter of an estimated 800,000 people.” This shows the cruelness and overly power used by people in France who hold power. Genocides like this happen for a reason. A reason why a Genocide like this happen is because of hatred and discrimination in people. People have hatred towards other people, and those people decide to make reasonable choices. For example, a mass killing on a race, just because one person or a group of people don’t like them.
