One day the red-headed, green-eyed, Sally Baby was going to her grandmas house to eat Thanksgiving dinner for the first time in her life. “Mom? why do i have to come? why cant i do what i always do and just sit at home with my McDonalds?”
“Because honey, you need to start eating healthier, no more junk food,” her mother replied. “I’m perfectly fine with all the junk food I eat! And its not-” Sally was cut off as her mom stopped the car and her grandma Sammy opened the door. “Sally-baby!!! It’s so great to see you! And Sara, darling! Please, please, come in. You really shouldn’t eat all that trash. It’s full of preservatives and high-fructose corn syrup and all sorts of other things that arent any good for you,” her grandma states. “Fine, fine… i will eat it…” Sally grumpily replies as she starts to eat.

Three weeks later Sally comes home from school laughing and her mom asks her what happened. “Well, i hate admitting this, but mamaw Sammy was right. I’ve been eating home-cooking twice a week and i’m feeling amazing, and i have lost weight! Please let her know that i thank her for her help in realizing what i missed!” she replies then goes upstairs. Her mother shakes her head, impressed at the transformation in her daughter, and calls Sammy to let her know the good news.
