Have you wonder how you get drug addiction, obviously, by taking drugs. But what if there was more to drug addiction than you think. Around 24.6 mill people uses drugs and 22 mill uses illegal drugs. In this article I’ll be talking about teens and kids with drug problems, why states are not regulating drug abuse properly, and why drug users are being casted from society. Drug users should not be looked at differently in society.
People should not look at drug addicts as outcasts! People over the world are not getting the help they need and are put down by other people. When someone is convicted for drug related problems, they are put in prison which are cages that don’t solve anything. They could be sentenced for months or years for a drug offense. An average of 74 people are arrested for drug relationships a year and 5% are denied for bail. Which means that 5% do not get out of prison early and have no probation. Also, while in prison they start programs to help people with drug addiction but they are still not getting the help they need for a stable life. All jobs have background checks that check for felonies and the time in jail you did, when they find you’ve been arrested for drug related problems, you could kiss that job goodbye. …show more content…

While schools talk about signs and symptoms of drug use are they telling how it’ll affect our lives? Kids don’t know how the drug addicts feel when or are going through since they don’t have this problem. While teens learn how drugs are bad, they still do drugs. Drug manufacturers are aiming for kids and teens as their next customers to make profit. Schools should talk to kids with these problems or a loved one so the school can try to help. Schools should start a drug program to try to help kids get a good stable life without
