The Country of Saudi Arabia, officially known as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and was established on September 23rd, 1932. Saudi Arabia currently is located on the Arabian Peninsula, in between the countries, Iraq, Jordan, Yemen, Oman and the United Arab Emirates, the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf are to the countries east and west. Saudi Arabia is currently the largest Country on the Arabian Peninsula with a population exceeding 32 million people. A majority of the population speaks Arabic, with over six different dialects. Riyadh is the capital of Saudi Arabia with a population of over 5 million, making it the most populated city within the kingdom. Currently, Riyadh is the financial center of the country. Considering it is the biggest Arabic country with a population of over 32 million, a rich Islamic culture, and a major power economy. Saudi Arabia politics are different from many Arabic countries, with it being a Unitary Islamic Absolute Monarch. The current Monarch is considered one of the richest in the world, with King Salman as the current ruler, and the House of Saud ruling since 1932. Islam is one of the biggest religions in the world, with the heart of it being in Saudi Arabia. The two holiest places located in Saudi Arabia, Mecca, and Medina. These two locations are some of the most critical areas considered in Islamic culture, with millions making the annual pilgrimage every year called the Hajj. Considering this the Government relies on Islam to be its backbone, and the current constitution is based on the Islamic religion, they established a religious police to ensure the Saudi people are following all Islamic law, while the royal family indulges and sometimes goes against its own established rules. The monarch of Saudi Arabia has set up themselves as a powerful economy, considering its vast Oil reserves and petroleum production. The whole royal family is regarded as one of the richest in the world because of this, with a wealth estimated at 1.4 trillion dollars. They have donated large sums to many Arabic nations, establishing political power beyond its borders. The country still relies heavily on imports from China and the United States of America as well. It is amazing how one country could establish its self with so much and still rely on foreign help with labor and imports.
