Scavenger Hunt

The day is January 4th, 1951. Hunter is a man whose wife died when he was 40, he has no kids, nor any family left. He is a strong man that lives on a farm and is 6’2, he usually wears jeans and a t-shirt. He has brown hair with green-blue eyes. Hunter does things by himself, he doesn’t like kids or animals; he collects a lot of things, all the way from revolvers to 1920’s-1930’s baseball cards. Hunter even has a collection of his old wrestling trophies from when he was in high school, he likes to look at them and go back to the days when he was the best wrestler in the state. He goes out and begins to work on his tractor. In about 15 minutes he hears the laughter the barking get closer. He stands up and looks around trying to see if it is a kid or what, but he sees nothing. Hunter sat back down and noticed a coyote sneaking around over in his field eating carrots. Hunter slowly reached for his sawed-off double barrel shotgun that he kept in his shed in case something like this was to happen. Hayden whispered to the dog that he wanted to know if someone got hurt or if someone was just hunting. He walked in the direction he heard the shot, the dog he found slowly followed him more scared than Hayden was. Hayden said to the dog “come on buddy, I won’t let anything happen to you, you’re my dog now and no one will hurt you.” The dog looked back at his back where he had been whipped and he was missing fur as if he understood Hayden and went in front of him. Hayden hid behind the tree line when he approached it, he saw a farm and a man picking up a dead coyote. The man was wearing a t-shirt, blue jeans, work boots, and had a sawed off shotgun in his left hand with the coyote on his right shoulder.
