School fundings should be in the top 3 priorities for government fundings because children need an education to learn and grow to become successful in their lives. For most parents it is evident that an education for their children is important since many people move for their child to pursue a better life. Seeing that education is a priority to many parents, parents tend to move to better parts of their state to find higher education for their children. The goals of education are to provide opportunities and for children to make smart decisions in their futures, this causes education to be the number one concern for most parents but not the government? Because of the demand for schooling, parents are willing to pay higher housing costs compared to households without children. Without an education, there would be no way out of their tough financial situation, and they would be unemployed or maybe they would have to undergo exploitation which is where many people have to resort to. They take these dangerous jobs to try to live a decent life with the little amount of money they are receiving (Adabala, Srihita). The need for an education is crucial in any given circumstance and the government does not do enough to fund lower class towns and cities education systems, because areas with already high poverty rates can not afford to pay taxes to be able to fund schooling for their children unlike more wealthier towns (School of Education Online). The government should be able to help fund these schools with all the money received from taxes, because all children deserve an education that will benefit them in the long
