Religion was what drove the Scientific Revolution. The Scientific Revolution revovled around many of the ideals presented at the time of the Renaissance, Reformation, Englightenment, and the Age of Discovery (Hansen). The Church promoted the study of science in the Middle Ages (Hansen). Which lead to the findings for the real questions that could inspire doubt within the Church. Scieitists would find reasons to creation and set the Church into learning in ways presented earlier by the Jesuits (Hansen). The Church promoted science, which put forth the important questions of what was the Earth “saying” and lead to the Heliocentric, Ptolemy, and Geocentric Theories.
