Whenever I look up at the night sky, I can see the stars that are just visible enough for me to see as a small dot. I look up at the stars wondering if they are galaxies, stars, or even planets. Whatever those stars may be I see them as opportunities, opportunities for us to see and explore. However, they aren’t the only stars that can be seen as opportunities. The stars that are drawn on paper can also be seen as opportunities. The five points that are formed to make a regular star on paper are like choices that we have in life. There are also stars that are drawn with more than five points that can be seen the same. The star is a symbol that I see as a guide that will show me the paths that I could take. The star is a symbol that is used in many cultures as a religious symbol or scientific symbol. In Christianity now a days, the star enclosed in a circle or a pentagram, as it is also know, is viewed as a sign of evil or darkness. In the past, the pentagram was viewed as the five wounds of Christ on the cross, which made the pentagram a symbol of Christ, the Savior. The scientific star represented our place in the universe due to the number five being repeated by our body, my star represents the five choices people can make along with the other five choices that will follow. The star I use as my symbol would represent the choices I would make for myself and once I make a choice, many more choices will follow. Just like the scientific star, the number five will keep being a common number that will define where one would end up. Possibly after making all these decisions, just like the stars in the sky, you would have formed a constellation that would be represented by where you are in the
