Psychology of Psychopaths/Serial Killers Paper Ashley was not doing so well. She had been an unhappy child. Antisocial behavior at home had led to temper tantrums. She set her first fire when she was 18. The fires got bigger until the thrill of setting them was no longer appealing. As a serial killer, the challenge never got boring. Serial killers and psychopaths have puzzled psychiatrists and law enforcement for years. Many have wondered how and why they do what they do. When they can’t help someone with really bad habits then they don’t really feel like they should be doing what they do. Things that happen in someone's brain only happens because they have had head damage to themself. Most people think that serial killers are any type of people. They actually mostly think that serial killers are white male because the ones that they have investigated on are white males. Serial killers do not feel bad for what they do to others. When a psychopath or serial killer go to get their brains checked they have to watch videos on other getting hurt so they can understand what they are actually causing (Keysers). Serial killers or psychopath do not care who they hurt because they know that they are not hurting themselves. They do not care if they are causing harm to one another because they know they like to hurt and kill people because they think what they do for a living is nice or they are just going through a hard
