The term “Slavery.” A past historical event that included sexual exploitation and abduction of human beings as labor sources with no freedom or choice. That’s probably what you were thinking, correct? Maybe, maybe not, but your missing more much more than half of the picture and the true reality of how it still exists today. How can this be? What do you mean? The Internation Labor Organization (ILO), states that forced labor is a “work or service exacted from a person under threat or penalty, which includes penal sanctions and the loss of rights and privilages, where the person has not offered him/herself voluntarily.” Human trafficking is said to …show more content…

The United Nations Children's Fund argues that one of the causes of so much human trafficking is lack of awareness or little education in this particular area. Though there are dozens of organizations working to stop trafficking, a lot of organizations are unwilling to get involved in rescue work because they consider it too dangerous. Of course, there's an element of danger in this, but isn’t the greater danger in leaving children enslaved? Human trafficking is a high-stakes criminal activity and I think that really is no risk-free way to stop it. But with saying that, I think that our world needs to focus on finding ways to educate everyone around the world about this crisis and better incorporate the lesson of sex education and to make it a part of the national curriculum. I think that this could really lower trafficking numbers and save more lives! Politically and Financially I think that funding organizations and donating money to help support this crisis can also make a difference. The Vietnamese Government and their end to stop trafficking between the border, their country, and laws is not in our reach or control but I think that the more everyone as a whole and community can come together to end this issue, we can better the world and the fight to help the citizens of
