Write a different ending to the novel.

Planing
A man comes and says they left to go to the airport in the morning so stop protesting.
Sergeant Brodie never came.
They were on the plane on the way back to Afghanistan.
They got back to Bamiyan and the Taliban police took them to jail and tortured them.
Matt and Grandpa gave up looking for Aman and their only memory is his silver star.
They got locked up and Aman’s mother died because the Taliban killed her.
Aman ran escaped and ran away and was never heard of again.
He may or may not be alive still.

There was no one to help them just the Taliban. “Thought you could escape from us you rotten Hazara? Well not anymore because we are in charge of you and you will do what we say. No if’s, no but’s. There shall be no excuses.” Said an evil Taliban member. Then they took Amans mother and tied up her arms and legs. They started beating her in front of Aman. All of her memories from years ago came back and it was happening again. She had a panick attack. A bad one. “MOTHER!!!!!! STOP BEATING HER! DO YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS TO BE TORCHERED. YOU ARE INHUMAN!” Aman blew it. He charged at the men but it was no use because they handcuffed him and tied him to a tree. They took Aman and his mother to a tiny room and threw them in there and locked the door. Days on end they were in there with no food or water. Mother was getting old and she needed nutrients but one day she left Aman too soon. A boy who is in his teens without any family. Aman was grieving for his mother. She was long lost gone. Aman had to find a way to get out of this place but if he did the Taliban would hunt him down and kill him. He took his mother’s earrings as a memory and smashed the window and ran. Ran for his life. He ran like the wind and he was so scared that he fled and knew that his mother would be
