The Princess Bride is an average book, meaning that there were interesting parts and some parts that were not engaging. I enjoyed how they included great detail when describing everyone’s live and what shaped them throughout time because it gives you an overview on what the character is like. Although I didn 't like how during the story when something interesting is happening, the author, William Goldman, would interrupt and spoil some parts, because as a reader, I like to find out what happens without having to stop in the middle of the story. Lastly, since I do not enjoy fantasy books, I did catch myself throughout the book zoning out because some parts were just not interesting and I didn’t like how the author would ramble on at some points.

Although he is faced with challenging students and cruel teachers, Mr. Warren stays kind.

A foil is a character who contrasts with another character in order to highlight particular qualities of the other character. In Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein Or The Modern Prometheus, Victor Frankenstein is telling his story about his trials and tribulations so far in his life. Characters like the creature, Elizabeth, and Henry Clervel help highlight Victor’s qualities. Robert Walton is a more effective foil for Victor Frankenstein based on his experiences that parallels and contrasts Frankenstein’s life.

Awhile back they had been friends, and haven’t seen each other since then. Watson and Stamford converse about their problematic situations, when Stamford had been aware he found a solution to Watsons need for new residency. Stamford had described an incompetent scientist, Sherlock Holmes, whom is looking for a roommate to share his rooms with. Homes has two rooms available for himself and anyone else at 221B Baker Street. Stamford had found Holmes to me a little crazy and humorous at points in time, such as when Stamford had caught Holmes punching a cadaver to see if any signs of bruising would occur after death.

It is influenced by countless ideas, including religious themes around this time period, and usually reflects on the characteristics of the people living in the Victorian era.
There is a hero in almost every story. A hero doesn’t always necessarily involve physical strength, it can be defined many other ways. A hero is someone who is idealized for their noble qualities, courage and outstanding achievements. In Mary Shelley’s book, Frankenstein, the hero in the story is Victor Frankenstein. Victor sacrifices his family, his life, and other peoples lives for his pursuit of creating life, and attempting to cure diseases.
