The Facebook Sonnet Poem
The poem that I choose was "The Facebook Sonnet Poem", to me the author and poet Sherman Alexie was saying how social media has become so widespread into today 's (community of people/all good people in the world), which everyone has posted something on Facebook, good, bad, ugly and (not caring one way or the other). There are many relationships ' are ruined by those that reach out to past boyfriends, girlfriends and lovers.
There are many people who like to play games that are offered on Facebook, and many of them like to send request for more lives or inviting them to play these games.
You will see many post their beliefs or religion on social media, their feelings on how the government is being ran.
I can understand why people use social media to keep in touch with friends, family and loved ones that are so far away, but many people forgot how to use the mail system to correspond. What happened to using the old ' fashion way to keep in touch with those that you love? Just like greeting cards, many are now using online to send birthday cards, (yearly recognition or celebration) cards. I rather send or receive a card through the mail.

I believe that too many young children are gaining access to Facebook with the help of their parents. My youngest is ten years old and asked if he could have a Facebook, and I told him that he was too young for any social media. I know parents that let their eight year old 's on Facebook, along with the pictures that they take of themselves, and then post them on Facebook. To me the pictures are very inappropriate and the parents need to pay more attention to what their child is putting out there. To me having young children on social media is inviting praetors into your home.
