It all started in the year 1754 when George Washington’s whistling bullets were shot. These bullets were aimed at a French scouting party stationed at Fort Duquesne. General Washington ordered his men to open fire and started a conflict known as the French and Indian War. The British and French, wrestled for territory and power. However, the French troops had an advantage.
Although many see restructuring as the best option, others think that it is best to set aside technology every once and a while and write a letter to one another, providing jobs, and it is cheaper than other delivery services. Some say that nothing replaces a personal letter from someone you love, it provides a more intimate feeling. The USPS provides jobs for Americans, we should do our part by sending one letter a month. Lastly, the USPS is significantly cheaper than FedEx or UPS.

Throughout the 20th century, the United States Postal Service (USPS) was very popular among consumers; however, over the past decade, their service has started to decline since new technology has made it inefficient. This leads to a controversial question. Should the USPS be restructured? Because of its outdated system and its significant loss in revenue, the USPS should be restructured by downsizing their physical business, and by expanding their business to the online market for an upscale in revenue. An important step is to close postal services that are near each other.
Much like the infamous Siberian snow leopard, the first past the post system is a predator in the way it targets small parties and causes discord amongst the Canadian people. But, also like the fierce Siberian snow leopard, the first past the post system does not belong in Canada. When Trudeau stepped into office he brought with him many promises he has yet to fulfill, one of which is to focus on the electoral system and looking into alternatives. Canada has been continuously playing themselves by using first past the post. Anyway, Stamp Act was working negatively to us as Sugar Act was (117). As you know I am a part of patriots community. Right after the Stamp Act was established, we, Sons of Liberty in New York, attempted to resolve the problem and proposed "a Congress of the Sons of Liberty" in order to establish a uniform society (117). Our effort failed, but Committees of Correspondence were created, loosely connecting all the colonies. This connection helped to unite colonies together.

Dating back to the colonial times of America, mail was delivered by the Pony Express, today mail is being sent by cars, airplanes, and ships. Our country is long overdue for restructuring the USPS. The USPS should be restructured so they can gain revenue, still have convenience, and to keep up to date with developing technology.
The USPS should cut back days to save money from the decreasing mail volume. The mail volume has dropped in the past year. Mailings competition is the electronic mail and various package delivery companies have taken away business from the USPS, therefore there needs to be a change to mailing. The mail volume dropped heavily in the matter of 2 years. In 2008, they had 203 million mail volume, the next year it dropped to 177 million.
USPS Synthesis Essay The U.S. Postal Service has been around for quite some time. They compete with other companies such as UPS or Fedex as they are all known as the most popular postal services. Over time, society has changed due to the technology influences. With the influences, the U.S. Postal Services have encountered a total mail volume decreasing and a loss in revenue.
It’s no secret that the USPS is going through some tough times, the Postal Service alone “experienced a 13 percent drop in mail volume last fiscal year….and lost $3.8 billion.” (Source C). The USPS also “anticipates steeper drops on mail volume and revenue over the next 10 years…”(Source C) which can further complicate the company's future. Unless there's a change, the Postal Service will continue to lose money and its customers, projections already show that the mail volume the USPS used to get will never return to its “pre-recession levels”(Source C). In order for the Postal Service to recover some of their losses they should consider the idea of closing branches.
Today March 22nd, 1765 is a very harsh day for us Anderson’s in South Carolina. Without asking us, British Parliament had passed a Stamp Act that affected more than half of the colonists in South Carolina. I overheard my Mother and Father discussing this topic, “These Lobster backs are taxing us to pay for their French and Indian War debts, why do they make us pay for it?” Dad sounded very frustrated and irritated about this. Many people depend on the United States Postal Service in order to be able to communicate with anyone across the country. These past years with many new advances in technology, this is causing USPS problems. The past expectations of the USPS are contradicting their performance today, mail volumes are decreasing while address numbers are increasing, people are preferring to utilize e-mail and are turning to the internet, therefore I believe that the USPS should be reconstructed to meet the needs of this developing nation. The USPS has helped expand the boundaries of the United states but over time people have started to be displeased with the performance with the once reliable communication across the country.
Background: Technological advances have made way for various avenues of communication such as text and multimedia messaging. Since its induction, social media has captivated users of all ages and has become a common staple in households across the United States and has had a significant impact on American culture.
If this question was raised twenty, even twenty-five years ago, the obvious answer would be no, as using the postal service was one of the best forms of communication. However, in this age surrounded by bigger and better forms of communication than the postal service, would we still need a rule like the postal rule? This brings several questions such as: would it be better if we didn’t have the postal rule? What would change if we rid of the postal rule? What wouldn’t change?
The Use of Social Networking Nowadays, we are living under decent technology and it has changed a lot of things: Entertainment, communication, and relationship; economy, education, and habit; medical, political and cultural etc. Social media has allowed us to interact with many more people other than we are used to before. We are living in a world where people would rather use text message with their mobile phone than face-to-face to each other, share greeting with more than hundreds of friends on the social media such as upload how they feel on Facebook, show photo Instagram, and what they are doing with Snapchat.
