Bullying in this day in age is one of the biggest problems teens and pre-teens have to face on a day to day basis. According to stopbullying.gov, bullying is defined as “Unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance” (1). Whether it’s physical, verbal, or over the internet, any teen would tell you that they have been bullied or witnessed some type of bullying take place. This is a huge problem that needs to be resolved because the abuse of one may lead to both short and long term effects in their life. There is physical, verbal, relational aggression, cyber bullying, sexual, and prejudicial, with physical being the most common out of all of them (3). An example of physical bullying would be punching, kicking, or any other physical act that would hurt another.
