Bullying is defined as a “subcategory of aggressive behavior, but of a particularly vicious kind, in as much as it is directed, often repeatedly toward a particular victim who is unable to effectively defend himself or herself”(Smorti, Menisini & Smith, 2003). Another definition of bullying by Dake, Price & Telljohann(2003) in their study states that “a student is being bullied when he or she is exposed, repeatedly and overtime, to negative actions on the part of one or more other students”. Negative actions may mean attempted or consummated acts which affects to the feelings of the victim like using force physically, verbally, through facial expressions and discrimination. Although, they have the same purpose, to inflict harm with others aggressively but they have different acts of bullying. Popular bullies socialized with other popular peers to perform bullying acts while unpopular bullies experienced being neglected and rejected by others. The rejection may lead them to use aggressive force to perform bullying acts in order to get attention from others. On the other hand, victims cannot protect themselves because they are described as weak thus making them being victimize by bullying. Bully- victims have a poor emotional adjustment and greater level of health problems. Victims have difficult relationships with their peers while bullies on the other hand, may influenced by peer groups to become aggressive. In a different study, bullies have been described that they are strong in psychological adjustment problems compared to their victims. Moreover, victims are emotionally disturbed because their classmates or friends avoid them resulting to lack of socialization.
