“A man who stands for nothing will fall for anything.” This sagacious quote was said by this man named Malcolm X. Malcolm’s real name is known as Malcolm Little and was born May 19, 1925 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was born and raised in a tough life. He did not stay in one spot with his parents and basically was moving every so often when there are threats. This happened when he was young and when he got older too. His father was murdered by White Supremacists and Malcolm was only six years old. His life turned severely after that. Insurance won’t pay for the death because they believe the cause of death was suicide. Malcolm said about the situation: So there we were. Malcolm X was murdered February 21, 1965. The last chapter in his auto biography is called 1965 for that reason. Malcolm X wanted changed for the black community basically, he wanted equality like any other person would want instead of getting treated like garbage. Then he wanted the black community to rise up and stand together as one instead killing each other for stupid mistakes. His early life is a reflection of stupidity of young adult from the hustle life. He matures during jail and then very ironic, people still wanted to hurt him. After changing his life to becoming a part of the Nation of Islam, we now know what killed him and why. I believe Malcolm X was just saying things that were true and needed to be fixed but no one wanted to hear it or admit it in the United States. Look at the United States right now. We still have many issues with color and racism and all that. Malcolm X just wanted peace just like any other normal person. He wanted everyone to live under the same rules.
