It was January 28, 1998 on a cold Wednesday night in Houston, Texas home of the Texans. Maria was getting ready for bedtime, waking up in the middle of the night feeling hungry. With small pain she decided to ignore it. She sat down and ate a bowl of cereal by herself. After she was done she grabbed an orange and heard towards her bedroom. She laid back because her back was starting to hurt, she decided to ignore it and started to eat the orange and watch T.V. She panicked She got up and wrapped herself with a blanket and woke up her husband. He was dead sleep, but once she told him that her water broke, he quickly got up the bed. Maria had some trouble to walk towards a car. He ran to change his clothes and helped her walk all the way to the car. …show more content…

They drove all the way to Ben Taub Hospital to give birth to a baby of 7 pounds and 5.3 ounces. Of so much excitement of having their first baby girl of the house. With so much care Juan, her husband, will go almost anywhere they look the baby. At first he told Maria if the baby was a girl he didn’t want her, but then he saw the beautiful eyes of this small baby in his hands and he knew in that moment that his baby girl was everything he wanted. After two days of being at the hospital Maria was finally able to go home with her daughter. Diana had two older brothers that were so excited to finally get to meet her and have her baby sister arrived back
