Large corporations are a big part of the economic industry. There is a lot of controversy regarding whether corporations should strive to improve their profit margins or help the disadvantage. Big companies should donate to charity and help out the community because it does not only make the corporation look good as a whole but benefits can come out of it as well. Most believe that corporations have one job only and that is to aim for the largest profit margins. Many companies like Apple, Lowe's Home Improvement, and COSTCO covet money and consider non profit organizations negligible (Ni). These companies expect to receive something in return for their generosity and it does not always work out that way. Instead they focus on following the laws but doing whatever they choose to do. If the corporation chooses what to do and not follow the law then they can get fined a huge amount which makes it not worth doing in the first place (Radcliffe). One corporation that does what they want is GoPro, they think freedom is a huge contribution to a successful company (TMZ). Choosing sides is not an option for theses corporations when they have a chance to do both. The main issue with this train of thought is that they won't get the most revenue they can get out of their decision. Choosing to do what comes to mind is not the best idea for a prosperous
