Fighting, feuds and lots of death. These are all things that relate to the book Romeo and Juliet. In Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, Rosaline and Friar Lawrence should be pardoned, and Lord Capulet should be punished for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Rosaline should be pardoned. She should be pardoned because she has done nothing wrong, she is innocent. She was just at the dance and Romeo saw her, she was a random person. She said no to Romeo because she wasn't interested. It’s okay not to be interested in someone. She didn't know anything about Juliet and is not apart of Romeo’s life. She is just a random person Romeo saw and fell in love with at a dance. He should be pardoned because he was trying to help Romeo. He wanted to get Romeo and Juliet back together and got Romeo and Juliet married. He made the plan of getting Juliet out of the city with Romeo. The letter did get messed up but that wasn't Friar Lawrence's fault. It was the city’s fault because they didn't want to accept a random letter. He wanted the feud between the two families to end. He wasn't on either families side, he was on both and wanted to help both of them. He even says, “For this alliance may so happy prove to turn your households’ rancor to pure love.”.
