1. I agree with the statement that personality tests can be easy to fake. It is because candidate knows what kind of qualification and personality the company is looking for from the job description. Therefore, the candidates tend to answer in the way that matches what company wants. In personality tests, it is no need for candidates or applicants to provide the evidence to support a certain personality.

If I were a consultant for the company or employer who insisted on using a personality test for HR selection, I would suggest the employer to go in depth for aspects of personalities of applicants. I am not agree with the statement that personality tests allows us to realize that an applicants are fit and has better capabilities to fit in the organization. To assessing how an employee fits within a organizational cultural, I believe that to conduct a face-to-face interview or even a video call would allow the company to learn about the applicants as well as the the applicants would have a better understanding of the organizational culture. In my opinion, personality somehow can change over time and situations. It is even harder to access personality of the applicants from strong collectivist cultures since their personality is likely to change along with their role in society. For example, as an olderst sister, I tend to have less agreeableness and be more dominant when I am with younger siblings. However, when I am within group of friends who are mostly older than me, I tend to have more agreeableness personality. I prefer the applicants who have experience working in positions that require them to interact with public. The more time they work in the field, the stronger they develop the required personality such as interpersonal skill. My example is from my past experience, as an introvert person, I am unlikely to approach other and start conversation. However, since I have worked as a receptionists/ waitress for several years, I could change myself to become more friendly and talkatively as I walked into the restaurant. Yet, I still consider myself an introvert who love to be stay alone for most of the time. Therefore, if using the personality test, the employers would not choose to select me although in reality, most of my employers were satisfied with my work and I never got
