Should Student Athletes Get Paid?

Are you a student-athlete who needs help managing your money, and has trouble keeping up with your classes? If so follow these key steps to stay in college, and continue playing the sport you have chosen. Most student athletes have a wide variety of options when there in college. Most athletes in college chose to take one to two years of college before they go pro. My program would require student-athletes to stay in school until after their junior year of college. So their knowledge would further developed when going to play professional sports, and being in the real world. This would more then likely keep young adults interested in there academic excellence rather then doing two years, and leaving to get the big time money when going professional in most sports. This would be an academic program set up by the college to help these athletes by managing money, and would urge the students to stay in school for one more year. The NCAA has a program like this, but I think they should consider allowing student- athletes to get paid for their sport that their in. Most athletes do have trouble making the tradition of staying caught up in your classes and taking part of the this would benefit both sides of the argument. Student-athletes work really hard to get where they are today. By going with this program it would give the student-athletes a better chance to finish their education rather then skipping your last 3 years to about 1 years of age. Student athletes should be allowed to at least have sponsors, or endorsement deals. These athletes put their blood, sweat and tears into sports, and it's only right to allow this whole program to happen. I think personally it would give the student athletes more of an option, and to discuss what they want to do in their life to give the student more
