As a citizen of the United States, there are certain rights the Constitution presents to the person when born or granted citizenship. These rights include the power to avoid harmful comments, harassment, and the ability to communicate with the specific people desired. Trump should be able to block people on Twitter because he still has and deserves the same rights as every other law abiding citizen and it does not stop people from viewing his activity and tweets.
When blocking someone on Twitter, the person being blocked can still view the tweets from the person who blocked them either from a different account or by not being logged in to the Twitter website. The only thing that is not possible is interacting and commenting on the blockers tweets and profile. “(Blocking does not make it impossible to view a person’s tweets, although it is much more difficult to do so.)” (Elizabeth E. JOH). Many people argue that Trump should not be able to block anyone based solely on this matter, people believe that anyone and everyone should be able to see the President’s tweets and follow his activity. In reality, even those who Trump blocks will be able to see his tweets and view his activities, just with more difficulty.

Trump is most commonly seen as the President of the United States, but his great title does not mean that he is not human just as the rest of us are. As stated in the quote above “no one” should have to deal with negative and harmful words directed to them, Trump qualifies as part of that “no one”.
