I’m not saying that Donald Trump necessarily intended to spark violence and harassment while running his campaign, but he created an environment where he didn’t exactly discourage it either. By labeling Mexican immigrants and Muslims as the enemy, radicals took the idea and ran with it. Across the country, Hispanics, not just Mexicans, are falling victim to hate based crime and harassment.
The majority of the American people feel as though the president is trying to drive out Mexicans from the country, but that is simply not true. His goal is to remove people who are living in America illegally from the country because they are causing there to be less job opportunities for legal citizens, and don’t pay taxes which hurts the economy. Illegal immigrants cause an upset in the economic balance, they are paid by their employers without records or taxes also known as being paid “under the table.” This harms our economy because companies are paying less to illegal immigrants, causing them to make more profit without tax, and the illegal immigrants are being paid and not paying the government any taxes which causes an upset in the economy. The tweets President Trump has posted are agreeably controversial because they say things that can be considered offensive and make it easy to criticise his actions throughout his administration because these tweets can bring a bad reputation to him.

During Trump’s campaign speeches, he has made so very hateful and harsh words against Mexican immigrants. Trump said” They’re bring drugs, they’re brining crime. They’re rapist, and some, I assume, are good people.” To add salt to the wound, he wanted to build a border wall and make Mexico paid for it.
However, when analysing both Trump’s followers on Twitter as well as the responses to his tweets, it is clear that he has a wider international audience in which his imagined audience fails to take into account. Trump’s tweets have been viewed as offensive and baffling by majority of the public of the United States, regardless of which political party those people stand for. Not only has his tweets been seen as baffling by many, but they have also caused much tension and uproar from the public. His use of Twitter has been making him seem unprofessional, and has simply hurt his reputation as the 45th President of the United States tremendously. For one, Trump has caused outrage from tweeting not just in the United States, but also overseas. He has caused outrage in Britain as a result of his retweets of Anti Muslim videos.
