Unsatisfied with the country’s first African-American president, in fear that their lives are becoming inferior to the growing population of minorities and immigrants and longing for the American dream; thousands of men and women line up to see Donald Trump. And in an extraordinary presidential campaign, Trump thrives off of and taps into these very fears and anxieties that have been brought to light. We, as American citizens, want to see illegal immigrants sent back to their countries, increased border security to prevent them from entering the country and to provide for our own citizen’s welfare and employment needs. Trump shares these views with American citizens and has created a vision to restore integrity to America’s immigration system by prioritising the interests of the citizens first – something that many of us haven’t felt for years.
