The 2016 Presidential Race has been a controversy throughout the country, some people have already chosen a side , and some are undecided. Many of the undecided aren’t sure if they want a Republican or a Democrat President. Has anyone decided who to vote for yet? Our Country has been ruled under a Democrat, for 8 long and frustrating years, that was our current President Barack Obama, who many conservative people think he’s been in office for far too long. With how the world is currently going, we NEED a Republican president and if we don’t our country is going to deteriorate even more . 1. Republican President nominee Donald Trump has expressed his feelings about Isis and other terrorist groups. He promises that he will fix our country’s foreign policies and deport all ILLEGAL Immigrants. But if a person comes over to the United States ILLEGALLY, they need to become an American citizen or leave our country.(Infobase learning 2016 Presidential Race) This will prove my point because, Donald Trump promises that he will do whatever it takes in his power to stop ISIS and other terrorist groups, and stop illegal immigration and fix our country’s Broken Foreign policy(Infobase 2016 election Race). Terrorism needs to be put to an end because that If we don’t do something now , thousands and thousands of people could die because of terrorists that are setting bombs off in well crowded places, killing hundreds of thousands of innocent people. Liberals think that if we have stricter gun control that less crime would happen, and that’s essentially taking one of our constitutional rights away from us like the 2nd amendment “The Right to Bear arms.” means we have the right to own guns. And there are some Americans that believe that people who have entered our country ILLEGALLY should just be accepted into our country without knowing anything about them or without them paying taxes. Illegal immigrants need to be vetted because that they could be here to possibly cause harm or be armed and dangerous(infobase 2016 presidential race). Liberals are also all about giving all rights to other people and people who agree with their viewpoints. It seems these days that if you have a different opinion than the liberals and other people that you can’t express your opinion anymore and that we have to feel bad for having a differing opinion. Republicans believe that any refugees should have to go through a very thorough vetting process, not to make the refugees upset, but to protect our American citizens.
