Many people have different opinions on recycling, but the question here is, should we take a toll on them and try to make a recycling program at Sierra Pacific High School? Well, I think we should implement a recycling program at Sierra Pacific for the sake of many things. One of my main reasons is, that it's better for the environment. As we continue to recycle products, less natural resources are being used for those products. Also, recycling products reducing pollution. The less products we waste and leave around, the less pollution we will have. Recycling reduces mining and drilling, which both causes pollution in the air. Our campus is apparently known as the cleanest campus out of Hanford Joint Union High School District’s three schools. It would be much more organized if we made a recycling program. Especially since we can see the whole campus from literally one point. Placing recycling bins next to our garbage bins would be a great spot because no student would be reluctant to throw a can into the garbage bin until they couldn’t find a recycling bin. Though recycling is great for the environment and scenery, there is plenty of cons to go along with it. One of the main cons that everyone usually runs into is trying to keep the recycling project going or fail to keep it going. People may not corroborate with the project and this causes it to fail. Recycling may make people file for bankruptcy. Another reason is that time and effort is needed to run the project.
