The African and Chinese societies were two of the early and important society to the their own continents and time. Africa and China had their own systems of how to live, but they shared some ideas on life. The African and Chinese societies were different but they were definitely more similar. China and Africa were similar in roles of women, separation of people, families, slavery, power, and cities. The African and Chinese societies were similar. The two societies were similar roles of women. In both societies men were seen as more dominant than women. Separation was the same in both China and Africa. Both societies were separated into clans based on families. Families were similar. In both societies, children were expected to obey their parents. The father was the head of the house. Also, women in Africa could inherit land. In China, women were denied the right to own property. Their lifestyles were also different.
