The documentary begins with Amenhotep III and his great accomplishments in diplomacy. For example, the wealth and power of his empire due to the control of gold that was being traded with different nations to maintain peace for his people. Also discussed, his use of scarab propaganda, used as newspapers to his people telling of his accomplishments and never of conflict. After Amenhotep III’s death, his son Akhenaten became king.

Similarities That American Society Shares With Ancient Greece Ancient Greece produced many patterns and fashions that America has imitated. This civilization, more than any other, has molded what Americans observe and use architecturally today. Everywhere people look, they can see designs from Ancient Greece in this country. America has been inspired and influenced by the Greeks; therefore, there are replicated ideas of ancient Greece seen in many of America’s buildings. In the United States’ capital, there are buildings, especially the Capitol, which have borrowed ideas and patterns from some of Greece’s structures.
During the times of the Jim Crow laws in the southern United States and apartheid in South Africa, blacks were segregated against and treated very poorly. There were a lot of similarities as well as a lot of differences in the way that blacks were treated in both countries. For example, blacks were denied their rights as humans in both countries. In the United States and in South Africa, blacks couldn't attend the same schools as whites and they weren't allowed to vote either. However, there were a few differences between the segregation in both countries.

During the New Kingdom of ancient Egypt, people were divided into seven different levels. At the top was the Pharaoh with the government officials, nobles and priests below him/her. The fourth level consisted of the scribes and soldiers with the craftsmen and merchants making up the middle class in the fifth level.

Ancient Egypt was a complex civilization because it included all the seven indicators. About 1000 years before Ancient egypt became a civilization people were hunters and gatherers, therefore they didn’t stay in one place for very long. Once they discovered the dirt near the nile was fertile they started to farm. After they discovered that you could farm and raise livestock they started to grow towns and cities. As the population went up Ancient Egypt began to become complex civilization.
Both Ancient Egypt and Ancient Rome came about in 30 BC. Both of their monarchs were big rivals. Both countries tried to outdo each other and make better things than each other. Both Ancient Egypt and Ancient Rome dealt with transportation but they did so in different ways. Ancient Egypt had decent quality transportation but Ancient Rome had better quality equipment and overall better forms of transportation.
