I’m Triple J’s finest hack host Alysha and today we will take a glance at two dystopian fictions called ‘Feed’ which is the novel and ‘I Am Legend’ the movie which both carry cannibalistic zombies as we explore on how tales of these fictions may be what we could possibly face in the long run. What makes these two text relative is the unfortunate inconvenience of how vaccines that were made purposefully to help those who were sick and in desperate needs turned out to be the very dangers they never thought could possibly help. In ‘Feed’ perspectives change between characters such as Georgia, the main character to her brother Shaun as for in “I Am Legend’ the story only ever focuses on Robert Neville and the crazy events he comes to face day by day and the horrendous flashback she has to suffer with, as well as the fact that he is alone trapped by crazy creatures who try to make his life miserable. What I believe is the most interesting difference between the two scripts is that in “I Am Legend’ Will Smith’s character is trying the very best he can to find the cure and end the cannibalistic creatures whilst in ‘Feed’ the characters are just trying their best to take care of each other and make it through the terrifying world they now live in although Georgia is shot by a tranquilizer containing the virus as she is then executed by the very hands of her brother, Shaun. Another difference between the texts is that Neville finally fins the cure to save humanity but passes on to a lady he met and took in to look after as she escapes and then sacrifices his very own life even though he fought for so long to survive making him the legend who saved the whole of
