Tollett 10th Honors Lit 7 March 2024 JFK and Lincoln Assassination: CIA at fault “There was a gunshot wound of the head around which the scalp was greatly thickened by hemorrhage into its tissue.”“Three shots were head and the President fell forward bleeding from the head.”- this needs to have citations. Both of these short excerpts are from the autopsy reports of President Lincoln and President Kennedy. Conspiracy theories are only prominent due to the fact that most people would like an excuse to hate their government. This event is especially prone to conspiracy theories due to the fact that both of these world leaders, who were both crucial to African American rights, were assassinated. The two assassinations have so much in common, as well as so many polar opposites, that you can't help but believe that the CIA murdered them both. There are very few plot points within this story, but the most concurrent one is why would the CIA kill these presidents? The reason why the CIA did this is because of the racial advancements these presidents made, and the CIA was enraged that their power was being given to blacks, instead of remaining with whites and the CIA. While some think the CIA wants the absolute best for their country, why would they drug you without your knowledge? Frankly, it’s similar to the case of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, who’s mother drugged her heavily to the point where she couldn’t walk. While there is not nearly enough hard proof to support this conspiracy theory, based on the CIA’s previous activities and the sheer amount of coincidences within the two assassinations, we can believe it. Despite everything the CIA has done, coincidences are not proof and will never be. Whoever feels that the CIA killed and assassinated the two presidents, you are correct. The things that made me personally believe in this were the horrible things the CIA had done in the past, as well as the absolutely insane amount of coincidences within the two assassinations. The theory is still open to being proved wrong. The theory hasn’t been proved or disproved, due to the CIA obviously not going to admit this kind of thing. If you think your government wouldn’t do that, you need to realize that they most likely would. Money
