There are many similarities between the PA state constitution and the US constitution. However, there are also many differences between the two. These differences include certain rules and laws that the country has, but cannot enforce on the state. To start, the Us constitution states the right to declare war, which is a right focused on the state government, not the general civilization. This fact is a common difference between the two constitutions. The US Constitution is focused more on the power the states have. While the states, being closer to their citizens, focus on their own Senate and the rights of their people. The people of a community cannot declare war on a greater power as that is the state and the US government’s responsibility.
