Mary Molly Haydock but was often known as Mary Reibey and the lady on the twenty-dollar note. She was an Englishwoman who went from a convict to one of the most successful businesswomen in the colony of New South Wales. Reibey was born on the 12th May 1777 in Bury, Lancashire, England; Mary Reibey and was orphaned at only age of two so she was raised by her grandmother after her parents had died.

This house is infamously known because of what Madame Delphine Lalaurie did in the attic. After a house fire, it was discovered that she was keeping slaves in her attic and torturing them to death. Today, the house is considered to be one of the most haunted places in New Orleans and Madame Lalaurie is considered to be one of the most infamous serial killers in history.
She was born Isabella Baumfree in Swaterkill, NY around 1797 in Ulster County. She was one of twelve children born to James and Elizabeth (Betsey) Baumfree. Her father was from, what is now known as modern day Ghana and her mother was the daughter of slaves from Guinea was known as Mau-Mau Bet. The Baumfrees were owned by Colonel Hardenburgh and lived at the Colonel’s estate in Esopus, NY, which was located about 95 miles from New York City. When the Colonel passed away, the Baumfrees were passed down to his son, Charles in 1806.

The war first began in 1337 and turned into a series of conflicts between England and France that lasted over 116 years.
