Situational Analysis
Introduction
The Coca-Cola Company is one of the largest and most popular beverage companies around. It is produced in over 200 countries. Millions of people consume their products at least once each day. Coca-Cola was invented in 1886 by John S. Pemberton an Atlanta pharmacist, it was a flavored syrup that people fell in love with. Many might not know that it was originally supposed to be a patent medicine. John S. Pemberton copyright the famous Coca-Cola syrup and extract and started selling Coca-Cola at soda fountains. Asa Chandler then came along in 1888 and bought the Coca-Cola formula for John S. Pemberton and his partners. Asa Chandler then Formed the Coca-Cola Company in 1892. He helped to change the company. The famous drink had branched out to other places outside of Atlanta and became Portable, with the famous glass bottle design.
