1. Even with our medical advances, the United States ranks 29th because of lack of health care for some individuals but also the lifestyle Americans have. Another reason is that class statuses correspond with our health outcomes. What I meant about this, is that lower and middle class individuals are exposed to more health threats than higher class. This is the connections between healthy bodies and healthy bank accounts and race/ethnicity.
Social Problem This article looks at the failure of support that incarcerated mothers receive in order to try and save family ties. Women who are incarcerated result in their child or children being taken into the care of the foster system. This system is meant to deal with children who need temporary care, but in this case is being used for children who need to be cared for long periods of time—specifically, more than a couple years. Because of the extended period of time that these children are in the system the two goals of foster care are being failed; reunification and permanency.
Older children, such as kevin, may also have problems moving therefore a proper understanding of manual handling is important to safely help patients to get from one place to

I chose this topic for a personal reason. One personal reason is because I was an eight-month-old baby when I was first placed in foster care. I was taken away from my biological mother when she decided to take me to the hospital. Once there the hospital staff diagnosed me with a severe bronchial infection on top of a severe skull fracture. When asked my biological mother couldn’t explain what happened and had multiple men that were not my biological father trying to give a reason for what had happened.

Rational for the observations The rational for using these observations retrospectively is to make sense of the whole person Amy’s life history, looking over her notes, why had she not engaged historically? Why the resistance? I wanted to understand how and why this was happening not just respond to the immediate crisis, rehouse and decontaminate her home for the behavioural pattern to be repeated. This method allowed me to explore theories of human growth and development and evaluate them with criticality (Monette et. 2014).
Her primary mode of getting around was scooting on her butt until she was three years old. She flailed her arms which reminded me of characteristics of autism, but I was told that was her way to be in touch with her senses, as well as pulling her hair. I enjoyed watching the children interact because it was a nice change from the sports related conditions I was used to seeing. Aside from the younger patients I observed, I also observed older patients. One was an older lady with multiple sclerosis who was wheelchair bound.
The Victory Lap, a Story of Redemption In “The Victory Lap,” by George Saunders, the author takes us deep into the scene of an attempted kidnapping and rape in an ordinary suburban neighborhood. Much of the emotional power in the story comes from two distinct sources. The first is the setting in an innocent suburbia which is much like the quiet ordinary setting of “The Lottery,” by Shirley Jackson. The second is the author’s use of POV, telling most of the story through the inner dialogue of each of the three characters; the girl, the boy, and the would-be rapist.
