For as long as I can remember, there has always been a pursuit to discover what I wanted to do with my life. I knew I had a deep conviction to help my community from a very young age, as I had witnessed my mother care for the innocent children who had crossed the border and become separated from there families. She is a resident counselor in a government agency, known as His House, inspiring me to want to become an instrument to this society, of both justice and compassion. By the time I entered college, I had a profound interest in philosophy, along with sociology, that eventually I found myself indulged in studying Social Work for the remainder of my undergrad.
