motivated to find a job because they have enough to get by so they don’t want to try to find a job to lose that money they are being handed. Poverty has then become a cycle and will continue for generations to come because they are following the examples their parents are setting for them.
To really streamline the welfare system, I need to take a look at what I can actually do to improve it. More funding to social workers, and the actual search for better jobs if the recipients of welfare are underemployed. Ultimately, it’s important to follow up on how the welfare system works, and how to really get out of the poverty cycle. The solution to the problem is to find better jobs for people who still need welfare if they are working full time, as Ill as get more information on higher education and form a plan.

The idea is to get relief if you need it, but with support from the federal government, I feel that recipients of welfare need to be able to come up with a plan to follow up with in hopes to get on their own legs. This is obviously very difficult to do, which is why I propose that I would focus on finding better jobs for the people collecting welfare. It is really difficult to change a growing welfare rate of 35.4%, but this proposal might help to reduce that percentage.
There are obviously a lot of variables within the subject of welfare, and it is vitally important to take those variables into account (mostly because those variables tend to be human beings). Social media can even help us in this endeavor. #FoundMyJob. After someone is matched with a job and get off welfare, they can use a hashtag saying found my job. This will show everyone how much this is improving and if I can get everyone involved for #FoundMyJob I can work as a community to solve this problem. It will change the society and will move other people and want them to get out there and get a
