Does business growth and success always acquaint to community growth and success? Bartow J. Elmore explores this question in his book, Citizen Coke: The Making of Coka-Cola Capitalism. Elmore looks at the price that the environment and the public has paid to allow Coke to rise into the power it is in today. Although he had a lot of friends, Soda is his best friend because in his mind, Ponyboy is even more important than himself. He put a lot of patience in Ponyboy. The special relationship between Soda and Ponyboy is more than brothers due to they help Darry to understand Ponyboy, they never leave each other alone, and they rescue each other from problems.

Ponyboy, a greaser, was one of the young boys that was matured throughout the book because of his hardships. Ponyboy 's relationship with his older brothers, Darry and Sodapop, is a key factor in how Ponyboy matured throughout the book. An example of Ponyboy almost maturing from the influence of Darry and Sodapop, is when their parents were killed in a car crash. When their Parents died it caused them to get closer and look out for eachother more (#3).
You mainly see this in his actions for when he is talking to his brothers. You can see this early on in the book when he is talking about Sodapop’s old horse and wanting to get it back, “I kept saving my money for a year, thinking that someday I could buy Mickey Mouse back for Soda,” (pg. 48). This shows how much he cares for his brother and that he wants him to be happy. He also shows how much he cares about Johnny, especially when they are hiding out in the church, “ ‘Johnny,’ I said tiredly, ‘you can’t wash your hair in this freezing weather. You’ll get a cold,’ ”
The readers can also tell he loved the gang as much as he loved his life (although Ponyboy stated in the book, “life was one big joke to Two-Bit”) but clearly, he was so energetic and lively and funny, how could he not love his life and his gang? For instance, he immediately protested when Cherry

Johnny shows Ponyboy that the world isn’t corrupt with mean people and that it is still full of good. Johnny stated in the note Ponyboy found in the book Gone With The Wild that it is was worth saving the kids even if it meant his life. He also stated that the poem in the book meant “He meant you’re gold when you’re a kid,like green… and don’t get bugged over being a greaser. You still have a lot of time to make yourself be what you want. There’s still lots of good in the world” (Hinton 178-9).

Culture is important to a nation because it gives them identity and something to base their lives off from. He sold his drink to Jacobs Pharmacy in Atlanta, Georgia.
In the carbonated soft drinks industry, Coke Cola and Pepsi Co are the biggest players in the market for aerated beverages. Both the companies have been competing strongly against each other for decades. The market is dominated by these two industry leaders with a total market share of 72%; Coke’s market share is 42% and Pepsi’s 30%. This is known as an oligopoly market; where there are few large firms competing with each other in the industry. Since both the company’s market share so large, the market is very close to a duopoly (other players having a very small impact on the market).
