Specia Special Education: My Personal Philosophy Of Education

My philosophy of education is simple, I considered my students wants and needs in order to perform and show growth in their learning. As an educator I provide accommodations and modifications based on the students’ individual needs. I also use Evidence Based Practices to insure that I support each student and I can see where my students needs more support.
The purpose of education is to create an environment that is rich in engaging to the learning process. Education is the process for guiding young individuals for success and lifelong learning. It is also the foundation to life lessons and it helps create a road map for the future of our kids. Kim Jones CEO of Forbes Magazine gives us her intake on education: Education does not have a single purpose; it serves multiple objectives, and the relative importance of each of these objectives can be very personal. The varied emphasis is a result of the diverse economic, social, spiritual, cultural, and political realities of our individual lives. Likewise, how we deliver instruction1, and how we measure success in school as a predictive indicator of our future success in society and, indeed, one could argue the metrics for society’s success as a whole, must be updated to match. Since each child is unique, it is difficult to give an overall example of special education. It is individualized for each child.
