Graduation Speech
Welcome to our graduation ceremony of 1940. It 's an accolade and a privilege to be graduating, I verbally express it’s a privilege because that 's what it is. As Nelson Mandela verbally expressed, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”. We wouldn 't be where we all are today without an education. We always want to be thankful we got the chance to get an education because most everybody who is prosperous has an education. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not verbally expressing you require an education, I’m saying that education is what got people to where they are today. Daniel Hale Williams is a famous African-American surgeon, he had an education which made him prosperous. He is very successful because he tried, he was an amazing surgeon that made history. We as a whole are a potent word, we have the facility to do anything as long as we endeavor and believe we have the potential to. As long as we endeavor to be prosperous or endeavor to get an education, then it’s okay to fail as long as we get back up. Another quote is from Michael Jordan and it verbally expresses, “I can accept failure, everyone fails at something, But I can’t accept not trying”. We all at one point in our lives will feel like we should not endeavor because we don’t want to fail, but you can’t give up without endeavoring.
