In Judea, around 30 A.D., Jesus of Nazareth, a man whom many Jews believed to be the messiah, preached about the gospel. This composed an incipient religion, Christianity. Christianity took hold in the antediluvian world expeditiously. Some reasons that it took hold in the archaic world expeditiously was because it edified about sempiternal life. It additionally took hold because of their notions and their notion that everyone was identically tantamount.
Christianity spread against a global superpower. Christianity started 2,000 years ago in Israel with Jesus and his teachings. His teachings spread throughout the world and were written into the Bible. Why did Christianity spread thousands of years ago? In Christianity one most believe that Jesus was crucified. “We preach Christ crucified a stumbling block to the Jews and folly to Gentiles” (1 Corinthians 1:23). In Islam it’s similar but different. Muslims believe that Jesus did not die on the cross but he was ascended to heaven during the crucifixion.
The first followers of Jesus were his twelve disciples. However, Jesus also made many enemies amongst the Romans. Jesus was crucified unjustly on a Roman cross for the sins of the world. Three days later he raise from the dead and proved that resurrection is God’s salvation offered to the people. By believing in Jesus and his teachings, it will lead to eternal life after death.
