Dear Prof. Billingsley.
I was aware of Globalization and most of its impacts but the impact of Globalization in regard to Health was truly brought to my awareness due to this Course. What I mean is that the Negative consequences of Globalization that heavily impact public and global health is made clear to me through this course. For this reason and for my learning journal entry, I have chosen to focus on the spread of Disease due to Globalization.

This is mostly by injections or oral medications. A vaccination process that strengthens our immune system to be resistive or fight against diseases.
If there can be reachable and free immunization system in every corner of the world without necessarily having a health insurance. The spread of diseases can be minimized if not terminated. Here also most people in developing countries are lacking behind to acquiring such opportunities.
Thank God also for the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization that is helping make vaccination reachable to developing countries.
Research.
According to study, there are some diseases that tend to develop quick resistance to medicines and treatment. This however requires a gut study of such diseases to be able to treat them with a suitable strategy that can prevent or terminate them. Pathologist and professional scientist are therefore required to be making research.

The researches and study are mostly expensive but needed. Because the better we understand how the diseases tick the better we can treat them. Yes developed countries can afford this and not all developing countries can. However Government in developing countries are putting effort.
