“Bye, mom! I’ll be back in two weeks don't miss me too much!” I yelled upstairs as I slipped out of the front door. It’s senior year and my best friend and I will be spending our spring break in Florida at a small beach house that I actually have never seen. “Hey Brooke” Chase greeted me as I stepped up into his Jeep “are you ready for the beach?” “Oh my gosh yes!” I replied almost a little too quick. “ha ha,” he chuckled “Well, let's get going then.” After about an hour of listening to Five Seconds of Summer’ on repeat we arrive at a small blue house. “Chase oh my gosh this house is so pretty,” I bubbled. “I know right what better place to spend spring break,” he added. He opens it and walks out to the back and out of my view. What is he doing? I’ve been sitting here staring at the back door where Chase had walked out of almost two hours ago and too scared to get up. Where could he have gone? He didn't leave me, right? No, he wouldn't do that. He is coming back. I just need to sit here and wait for him. It’s two in the morning and still there is no sign of Chase. My eyelids are getting heavier by the second. My feet lift my body up and begin to glide across the wood floors, little by little I begin to make my way towards my bedroom when I see a note hanging on the back door. That wasn't there before. I scampered over and tear the note off the glass door. The note was on the inside of the door. Chase hasn't come back. I didn't see anyone. My hands began to tremble as I rose the note up to my face. Hey, It’s me. No, not Chase. But I do have have him with me. “No” I choke out silently. “NO!” This time, I roared as loud as I could so that whom ever had written this could hear me loud and clear. “HAHAHA!
