To be a good Stage Manager, he/she must be responsible for all the tasks they are given and run both rehearsal and actual performance smoothly and also keeping their cool, being punctual for all the rehearsals and shows is also a given as it might not leave a good impression if he/she is late. He/she must be organized and must be able to think on the go and think ahead as well. He/she must be impartial and decisive in their decisions. Being polite when asking for help at least with a “Please” in the sentence and be considerate about the cast and crew are needed too.

I am someone who is responsible for everything that I do and will take up responsibility when needed. I am also someone who is very organized; therefore, I can do things fast and effectively. This is due to the reason that I am a person who wants to plan ahead for everything that I do and that would allow me to start doing work once I reach the ground. I will always be on time for any occasions, as these would allow me to leave a better impression on my colleagues and the person who engaged my services. However, I may not be able to keep my cool very well. However, to be a good Stage Manager, we will need to gain more experiences each and every time we get the chance to be a Stage Manager. This isn’t a job which anyone could learn everything in one day. With experience and the knowledge required for a Stage Manager, I would then be able to improve myself to become a good Stage Manager. Although I didn’t have a chance to be a Stage Manager yet, but I have worked with a Stage Manager in an event that I had involved in and that allows me to gain some experiences and knowledge on how to be a competent Stage Manager by learning from others. Also, during my part time job as a sales promoter, I have learned the required skills and tricks to be able to communicate effectively and patiently with people who have very unique personality and this would play a big part when I am required to handle artists as most artists have a unique personality as
