Star Wars is an epic space opera film series created by George Lucas, which includes galactic battles, theatrical adventure, as well as chivalric romance. The music, mainly composed by John Williams, gives depth to the storyline and is something that fans of all ages will always remember. The specific Star Wars movie that I have chosen to analyze is Star Wars, Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, which was released on May 25, 1983.
After more than two decades, reports that “Beetlejuice 2” finally happening are going around the newsroom. There have been discussions every now and then about Tim Burton’s comic horror sequel’s release but nothing has been official until now. Can “Beetlejuice’ stars Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder finally confirm it? “Beetlejuice 2’s” confirmation was like a ride on a roller coaster. Last March, Tim Burton was reported to have said that “Beetlejuice 2” is confirmed, though people around the team swiftly denied the claim.
Once the hero has received his Call to adventure, like George Lucas’s Luke Skywalker from Star Wars, they must go on to face their first challenge, the threshold guardians, which ultimately challenge their will to take on the burden of the task. For young master Skywalker, the threshold guardians come with guns. Shortly after young Skywalker receives his call to adventure, from R2-D2, the little droid disappears. When Luke finally locates R2, a group of warriors called Tusken Raiders strike at Skywalker, knocking him out. The sand savages scavenge through Luke’s vehicle, until Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi arrives scaring off the savages, saving Luke.
The hero this paper is on is Luke Skywalker. He is the hero in star wars. An article on starwars.com it said “Luke Skywalker was a Tatooine farm boy who rose from humble beginnings to become one of the greatest Jedi the galaxy has ever known. Along with his friends Princess Leia and Han Solo, Luke battled the evil Empire, discovered the truth of his parentage, and ended the tyranny of the Sith.” Luke Skywalker came from Tatooine, a desert planet with two suns.
A Cloverfield sequel has been rumored for quite some time, ever since the found-footage monster film opened in January of 2008. It seems the idea for a sequel has never left the mind of J.J. Abrams, and the mystery box still seems to be in full effect with the out-of-nowhere release of a trailer for the movie set to release on March 11. 10 Cloverfield Lane is Cloverfield‘s “blood relative,” according to Abrams in a statement to Collider. John Goodman, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and John Gallagher Jr. appear to make up the cast for this film; at least, those are the only three faces viewers get to see in the trailer. For all audiences know, dozens more could be in the film and may be revealed in later trailers.
Luke Skywalker- A courageous, orphaned young farm boy who is eager for adventure and for the chance to prove himself a hero. The chief protagonist of Star Wars episodes IV–VI, Luke must learn to control his emotions and desires in order to master the powers of a Jedi Knight, powers that flow from a mystic connection to the Force, an energy field created by life itself. Darth Vader (Anakin Skywalker)- A fallen Jedi Knight, now Dark Lord of the Sith and a fearsome evil presence.
May 25, 1977 the release of Star Wars: A New Hope, just another Sci-Fi movie that was set for failure. Little did the movie industry know , this franchise would be one of the most successful in movie history. Lets not forget the cultural appeal Star Wars would make and is continuing to do so. Star Wars has a found its place in society and is now an established staple film that everyone knows about. With its famous saying “May the force be with you” it is hard not to know where that saying is from.
Entering the room, Kylo Ren moved to join them. “Finding the flaw in your training menthods won’t help recover the droid.” Although his mask concealed his facial expression, the rage simmering below his calm demeanor was almost palpable. “And yet, there are larger concerns,” Hux insisted.
I do not believe that "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" was the best movie because the battle scenes seemed less important to the survival of the majority of the characters, and the villains seemed non threatening. The battle scenes between Luke and Darth Vader in the original six movies appeared to be very important. Because Luke played such an important role in the Rebel Alliance and the Jedi Order, every battle he fought in, it was crucial that he lived. The villains in Star Wars: The Force Awakens seemed very non threatening. The leader of the First Order, General Hux was “all bark, no bite”.
Today was hot. Not just any kind of hot, but extreme temperatures soared high on the planet of Tatooine where water was scarce. Luke Skywalker, a blonde haired and blue-eyed boy, with lots of energy lived with his Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru on a moisture farm in the middle of a desert. Not only was today hot, however Luke’s life, as he knows it, is about to change right before his very own eyes. Luke can be classified as a hero under Joseph Campbell’s ten characteristics of a mythical hero because throughout his life, Luke illustrates each characteristic on the vast journey he partakes in to topple the Galactic Empire.
Like most of the details concerning Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the origins of the film's new two opposing sides have been a closely guarded secret. The original trilogy pit the menacing Galactic Empire against the rag-tag Rebel Alliance and now, some 30 years later, The Force Awakens continues the conflict with the former now known as the First Order and the latter known as The Resistance. We'll most likely have to wait until the movie to find out how exactly the two sides got to where they are but we did get some new information on the status of the Resistance courtesy of Oscar Isaac.
George Lucas Caroline Murlin George Lucas is one of the best directors for Sci-fi and other movie types. He has won many awards for his movies and has done heaps before directing. Everything about his career is an amazing way to start a career. George Lucas wanted to be a race car driver, but George had changed his mind after he had a car crash.
